You can manage an unlimited number of devices. It is completely independent of the respective license and there are no restrictions for you as a user. You can document any number of data sockets, computers, server racks, locations and any other component you can think of.
You can choose between Pathfinder rental, Pathfinder full or Pathfinder Lite. Additionally, with Pathfinder Viewer we offer you the possibility to purchase a read-only license. Except for Pathfinder Lite, all licenses are based on the concurrent-user model. Here you can find an overview of the Pathfinder license model.
It depends on the number of employees in your company who will access Pathfinder at the same time. Pathfinder is licensed according to the concurrent-user model. This means that the number of licenses purchased determines how many employees can work with the software simultaneously (reading or writing). For more information, please contact us. Multi-user support means that multiple user accounts can work simultaneously, based on the concurrent-user model. Here, the number of licenses purchased determines how many of your employees can access Pathfinder at the same time with read and write privileges. The multi-user version of Pathfinder is portable and can be installed as many times as you want.
No, currently there is no minimum rental period. We want to support our clients who need maximum flexibility in the Corona pandemic. Therefore, the rental license is currently cancellable on a monthly basis. You may also purchase your rented licenses and convert them into the full license at any time.
Pathfinder can be used for an unlimited time if you have purchased a single or multi-user license. Pathfinder rental is available to you for the rented period.
Questions about the trial procedure
You can test Pathfinder without any restrictions for 30 days. The free license will end automatically after the trial period is over.

Once verified, we will send you an e-mail to the address you provided with a download link for Pathfinder. You can install your trial version of Pathfinder full and start testing.

You will benefit especially from the product updates, which include all minor updates and all new Pathfinder versions. In addition, you will receive personal assistance from our support team. New device templates for components will also be created for you on request.
No, you do not have to pay extra for the device templates. All device templates required to realize your network documentation are already included. Currently our online catalog contains over 20,000 device templates available for you to download into your local Pathfinder components library. With active maintenance, new device templates are created upon your request.
For single and multi-user licensing, updates are covered in the maintenance plan. The lump sum of our maintenance is 20% of the sum of all single licenses (list price without deductions) you purchased. If you decide to rent Pathfinder all updates are included.
Are you a public institution, non-profit or from the education sector? For you, we offer comprehensive discounts and will be more than happy to assist you. Our sales team will also inform you about our discount policy for purchasing large license packages.
